We are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier/Finance Assistant for a highly regarded firm based in Stockton-on-Tees
This is a busy and varied role, and the main duties will include:
* Processing day to day client related transactions
* Posting client & office bank statements
* Raising WIP and disbursement bills
* Providing support to all legal departments
* Checking and processing completion packs
* Various client related reconciliations
* Audit and general control reviews
* Archiving and general administration duties
* Adhering to Solicitor Accounting Rules

Ideal candidates will have:
* Prior experience in a Legal Cashier role
* Excellent communicative & organisational skills
* Strong analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills
* The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
* A proactive approach with a willingness to take on new challenges
* A strong eye for detail
* The ability to pick things up quickly whilst maintaining accuracy
* A strong knowledge of Excel
Flexibility to travel between both our office sites on an occasional basis, in line with the needs of the business
