Working closely with: Dazed Studio Project Directors, Head of Communications, Marketing and Talent, Membership Marketing Manager, Operations Manager, CRM Manager, and US Marketing/Events team
Role Summary
We are seeking an organised, proactive, creative, and collaborative Events Manager with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role is primarily responsible for planning, pitching, producing, and delivering co-branded and white-label commercial events across the Dazed Media portfolio, including Dazed, Dazed Beauty, AnOther Magazine, Another Man, NOWNESS, and Dazed Studio.
You will be developing proactive pitches and client-facing proposals, working closely with the wider team and our US counterparts, and managing multiple client projects across timelines and budgets under pressure. You will also ensure our events stay culturally relevant, with deep knowledge of youth culture, creative industries, and trends across fashion, beauty, sportswear, music, and lifestyle.
The role demands strong interpersonal skills, industry-wide relationships, and a flair for spotting trends ahead of the curve. Reporting on insights and trends, forward planning, and executing ambitious marketing and event strategies are key to success in this role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Client & Brand Focus
* Develop, pitch, and deliver proactive event concepts to brands and clients, working with both UK and US teams
* Present event reports and future forecasts to commercial, partnerships, and brand teams
* Manage client-facing event budgets and post-event reporting
* Collaborate with the Head of Communications, Marketing and Talent to coordinate audience sign‑ups, guest lists, and audience experience
* Schedule and manage B2B events aligned with Dazed Studio strategy, including securing co‑hosts and speakers
Event Production & Programming
* Manage, concept, and programme Dazed Studio events - both co‑branded and white‑label
* Identify, book, and manage event talent, including DJs, performers, and other creative collaborators
* Manage riders, contracts, and invoices
* Scout and maintain relationships with venues (restaurants, clubs, bars, studios, cultural institutions), including site visits and trend monitoring
* Manage third‑party production suppliers: AV, props, security, F+B, florists, freelance producers
* Maintain and update global supplier databases
Marketing & Communication
* Work closely with Head of Communications, Marketing and Talent to coordinate internal and external communications for all events
* Manage Dazed Events sales tools: commercial decks, website and more
* Work with partnerships, editorial, social, and advertising teams to integrate events across channels
* Support Dazed Club engagement, including event listings on the app and creating member‑exclusive experiences
Reporting & Strategy
* Create trend reports, forecasts, and event marketing strategies to support the annual events calendar
* Maintain and manage an annual marketing and events calendar, including event logs
* Identify event‑related news and trends, sharing insights across teams
Team Management
* Manage Marketing Assistants and Executives, interns, and freelancers
* Support the partnerships team with reporting and outreach to clients, trade press, and industry contacts
* Serve as an arbiter of Dazed Media’s internal culture and brand values
Desired Skills & Experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Extremely organised with the ability to project manage complex production schedules and multi‑channel campaigns
* Strong creative industry relationships, particularly in fashion, beauty, sportswear, and music
* Experience with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Keynote, Excel
* Familiarity with social and digital platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube
* Proactive, trend‑aware, and culturally literate with a passion for events and marketing
