Position Available: SEND Teacher
Location: Wirral, United Kingdom
Salary: Starting from £190 per day
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team at Axcis in Liverpool. As a SEND Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire creativity and encourage engagement. The role is based within an independent behavioural school on the Wirral working with pupils from Year 7 up to Year 11.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of students' abilities and interests.
2. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate cross-curricular projects and activities.
5. Stay up-to-date with developments in art education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into your practice.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or previous teacher experience.
2. Strong knowledge of behaviour management and willingness to use restraints if needed.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
