What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring our teams have the tools, knowledge, and processes they need to deliver a high-quality service. You will:
* Lead, support, and manage a team of multi-skilled trade operatives to deliver efficient and high-quality repairs and maintenance.
* Promote the use of digital tools and systems to increase team productivity and accuracy in job tracking and reporting.
* Diagnose repair needs accurately and during pre-inspections, specifying works and materials to reduce delays and support first-time fix performance.
* Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure delivery to agreed standards, holding regular review meetings and addressing underperformance.
* Ensure high-quality responsive repairs by inspecting works, identifying shortfalls, and providing constructive feedback to trades staff.
* Manage employee relations issues professionally and promptly, including performance concerns, disciplinary cases, and grievances, in line with Raven’s policies.
* Promote & model compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring operatives are aware of their responsibilities.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who:
* Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to provide clear feedback to trades staff, support planning teams, and engage constructively with customers.
* Strong technical understanding of property repairs and maintenance, including construction methods and building diagnostics.
* Ability to manage and improve contractor performance, including procurement, contract monitoring and resolving service failures effectively.
* Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and trade-specific compliance standards.
* Track record of delivering high-quality customer service in a repairs or housing context.
* Strong organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities, react quickly to operational issues, and ensure work is delivered on time and to standard.
* Able to use data and systems to monitor team performance, support productivity, and inform decision-making.
* Full, clean UK driving license

Selection process
Your application will progress through the following stages:
1.Application Review

This is the final stage of the selection process and will determine the outcome of your application.
4.Feedback
Feedback will be provided following the interview stage.
