<div><h3>Construction Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager</h3><p>Location: Rochdale, Great Manchester</p><p>Rate: GBP280 per shift</p><p>Duration: 5 weeks</p><p>Hours: 8am–6pm or 7am–5pm Mondays–Fridays</p><p>Start Date: Immediately</p><p>My client are looking for experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Managers to lead on all aspects of site safety and environmental compliance in live construction and logistics unit environments on a freelance basis.</p><h3>Key responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Strong communication skills required to interface with clients and construction teams on site</li><li>Full ownership of the HSE management systems and site compliance</li><li>Promoting a strong safety culture</li><li>Monitoring and reporting on HSE and KPIs performance</li><li>Delivering inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training</li><li>Conducting audits and inspections, reporting on findings and improvements</li><li>Keeping up to date with legislation and industry guidance</li><li>Managing COSHH documentation and assessments</li></ul><h3>What youll need:</h3><ul><li>Proven experience in a similar HSE role within construction ideally</li><li>Strong understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation</li><li>IOSH (minimum requirement)</li><li>NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualification – or working towards</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a hands–on, proactive approach</li><li>Strong organisation and influencing skills</li><li>Must possess a valid CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid and Asbestos Awareness</li></ul></div>
