Cadillac Formula 1 is preparing for the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship and is building a new team focused on high performance and competitiveness. We are assembling top engineering, design, and racing talent to create an environment of excellence and innovation.
Join us at our Silverstone Facility as a Senior Vehicle Performance Engineer. In this role, you will lead vehicle performance simulation, analysis, model development, and simulator operations, contributing to our goal of being the best in the field. We value challenging conventions and fostering a collaborative environment for shared success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Head of Performance Analysis to define strategic goals and resource planning.
* Lead performance, simulation, and vehicle dynamics projects to enhance short-term and long-term performance.
* Develop and improve simulation tools and models for vehicle and tire performance.
* Support design, aerodynamics, strategy, and race engineering teams with engineering insights.
* Manage simulator operations and provide race event support.
* Contribute to the development of tire models and data pipeline improvements.
* Maintain departmental administration and reporting procedures.
Requirements:
* Experience in motorsport performance or vehicle dynamics.
* Proficiency in developing and running vehicle and tire simulation models.
* Strong understanding of physics and mathematics related to high-performance vehicles.
* Experience with Python, MATLAB, or Simulink.
* Leadership skills to guide junior team members.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Openness to new ideas and approaches.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office Suite.
