About the role
We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative with joinery and general building experience to work within our Property Services team.
Working primarily within the voids team, you will be responsible for preparing empty homes for new tenants, carrying out a variety of joinery, building, plaster patching and decorating tasks to ensure properties meet high standards and are ready for occupation quickly and efficiently.
You will typically:
1. Carrying out all joinery, building and maintenance work relating to voids, modernisation and responsive repairs works allocated by the Resource planner.
2. Carrying out multi-skilled works to include joinery, plastering, tiling, decoration works to all JRF/JRHT properties in accordance with priorities and policies.
3. Providing safe usage and supervising usage of machinery, including basic maintenance and inspections, as and when required.
