Science Teacher – Canterbury Area – January 2026 Start We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school located just outside of Canterbury. This is a full-time temporary position starting in January 2026, running until February half term, with the potential to extend until Easter. About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across all three science disciplines – Biology, Chemistry, and Physics – to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role includes full teaching responsibilities such as: Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum Marking and assessing student work Attending parents’ evenings and departmental meetings Supporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching all three science specialisms at KS3 and KS4 Strong classroom management skills Ability to inspire and motivate students Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Apply Through Us?
