As a Financial Accountant at Rovco&Vaarst you will join a growing finance team of 5 andwillplay a key role in managing the daytoday accounting operationsoffering support to the Financial Controller. You will also work onprojects such as developing new processes and procedures to ensuregood controls are maintained as the businessgrows.
To be successful youll need to be fullyqualified or at the final stage of exams with a recognisedaccounting body. You will need to behighly organised motivated andable to deal with the fast pace of a growing changing business andmultiple deadlines.

Objectives&Responsibilities
Vaarstis an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely tochange as we grow upon joining your objectives and responsibilitieswill include:
* Oversee transactional processesincluding accounts payableaccounts receivable general ledger payroll functions and supportingthe finance assistants
* Lead the month endprocess including prepayments accruals and balance sheetcontrols
* Ensure compliance with accountingprinciples regulations and company policies
* Collaborate with other departments to gather financialinformation implement change and resolve issues
* Partner with FP&A and project accounting teams toensure they have the data needed and assist with insights intomonhtly results
* Identify and implement processimprovements to streamline financial operations and enhanceefficiency
Youshould apply if you have

* ACCA /CIMA /ICAEW /ICAS or equivalent finalist or fullyqualified
* Proven experience in accountingorfinance with good knowledge of accounting principles

* Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with akeen attention to detail
* Organisational andtime management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks andmeet deadlines
* Ability to take ownership andsee a task through to completion
