Are you passionate about sport and supporting children’s learning and wellbeing? Looking for a rewarding role this September in a friendly, supportive primary school in the BS3 area?
We’re working with a vibrant school looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Sports Coach to assist with PE lessons, support children’s physical development, and encourage a love of sport across the whole primary phase. This role combines coaching with teaching assistant duties, helping pupils build confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assist teachers in delivering PE lessons during the school day
• Support children during physical activities, encouraging participation and positive behaviour
• Help with playground supervision and support pupils during break and lunchtimes
• Work alongside teaching staff to promote healthy, active lifestyles and wellbeing
• Assist with organising school sports days and events
We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children in a school, sports, or similar setting (coaching experience an advantage)
• Passion for sport, physical activity, and supporting children’s development
• Friendly, patient, and reliable with good communication skills
• A team player who enjoys working with children and supporting their learning and wellbeing
