This busy and well-established veterinary hospital in East London is looking for a personable, organised, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join their team.

The Role:
As the first point of contact for clients, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of the practice. From welcoming pets through the door to supporting the clinical team behind the scenes, no two days are the same.
You'll enjoy a varied and rewarding role, including:
* Greeting clients and their pets and creating a warm, welcoming experience
* Managing appointments and diary bookings
* Supporting clients with healthcare plans and preventative care options
* Coordinating follow-up appointments and ongoing care arrangements
* Handling enquiries relating to appointments, medications, and treatments
* Processing payments and finance applications where required
* Ordering food, medication, and practice supplies
* Managing patient records and administrative tasks
* Supporting the veterinary and nursing teams with day-to-day enquiries
* Assisting with emails, client communications, and social media activity
This is a busy role that would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing exceptional client service with strong organisational skills.
The Offer:
* Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
* 5-day working week (40 hrs pw)
* Shifts scheduled between 7:30am and 7:30pm
* Light Saturday rota

About You:
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
* Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or within a veterinary client care role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
* The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
* A genuine passion for helping people and animals
* Confidence using computer systems and practice management software
Experience with RxWorks would be advantageous but is not essential.
