Building Surveyor
Salary: Up to £50,285
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Worthing / West Sussex with hybrid working

We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join our Asset Management Team, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying services, maintaining and improving our homes, and helping us create safe, healthy environments for our residents.
About the Role
In this role, you will take responsibility for project managing planned maintenance and major repair programmes, working closely with customers, leaseholders and contractors. You will play a key part in delivering a customer-focused approach to all refurbishment works, ensuring projects are well managed from start to finish. This includes keeping customers informed at every stage, maintaining excellent quality standards, and driving high levels of customer satisfaction
About You
We're looking for someone with strong project management skills and a background in building surveying. You'll have experience in managing refurbishment or maintenance projects, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. You should be confident working with a range of stakeholders and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Project management experience of planned works and large-scale projects within the housing sector
* Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
* Housing sector experience within planned maintenance arena
* Sound knowledge of building construction and technical issues
* Strong contract management skills including budget reporting and management
* Experience of housing and repairs management information systems
* Experience of budget management
* Building management qualification - preferred i.e. HNC
