Position Overview
We are seeking Geologists/Site Engineers to manage field and office aspects of geotechnical projects. This role is totally site based with a strong focus on overseeing, supporting the site and setting quality expectations while following core audit procedures.
Responsibilities
* Implement and organise projects both in the field and in the office.
* Accountable for field-based logistics, ensuring project specifications are followed.
* Ensure correct equipment is used and maintained at site.
* Follow correct health & safety procedures.
* Carry out technical site work to a high standard, safely, on time and in budget.
* Provide high-level project management on site, covering execution of ground investigation.
* Liaise between the office and site location.
* Liaise with the end client as and when required.
* Set quality expectations and follow core audit procedures.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years experience as a geotechnical geologist or engineer.
* Relevant degree (BSc in Earth Science, Geology or similar).
* Full manual driving licence.
