The role is Monday to Friday typical office hours and is based onsite. Role Profile Our client is a growing privately owned business going through an exciting period of change & growth. As Quality & Health and Safety Manager you will take ownership of maintaining and improving the companies quality and safety standards across every part of the business. You'll lead the ongoing development and implementation of ISO:9001 processes, ensuring recommendations from recent audits are embedded into daily practice. Working closely with the management team, you will review and refine quality management systems and preexisting quality control measures. You will also champion health and safety across the site, driving continuous improvement initiatives setting the right groundwork for implementation across other sites in the group. Key Responsibilities Lead implementation and development of ISO:9001 accredited quality management system improvements. Oversee and continually look to improve all aspects of quality across the business. Take ownership of health and safety management, driving compliance and safe working practises across the site. Conduct and review regular quality and safety audits, communicating key findings and figures to the General Manager. Investigate and manage non-conformances and report these with analysis into the NCR system. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN principles. Liaise with customers, including academics, government agents and industrial professionals. Key Skills & Experiences Proven background working in Quality in sectors such as engineering, aerospace or precision manufacturing is preferred. Hands-on leader with a passion for continuous improvement across quality & health and safety. Proven experience in developing QMS systems and driving quality efficiencies to ISO standards. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate between cross-functional stakeholders. Proven experience in managing or developing health and safety systems and ensuring compliance. Strong knowledge of ISO standards, management processes and quality control principles. Proficient in data analysis informing data-driven decision making. Want to recruit a similar role?
