Overview

We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong administrative skills to contribute to a dynamic organisation. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, maintaining effective communication, and supporting various office functions.

Duties

* Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
* Answer incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette and direct them accordingly
* Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings using organisational skills
* Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office,
* Maintain and update records, files, and databases efficiently
* Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
* Support team members with clerical tasks to ensure operational efficiency
* Manage correspondence via email and postal mail, ensuring timely responses
* Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

* Previous office or administrative experience is preferred
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Good typing speed and data entry capabilities
* Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Proven clerical experience with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
