THE ROLE
Position: Junior Social Executive
Location: London / Hybrid (min. 2 days a week in the office)
Contract: Full-time (5 days/35 Hours a week per week)
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 (depending on experience )
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a dynamic, confident and creative Junior Social Media Exec. You've gained content or social agency experience, developing original ideas for clients, bringing social campaigns to market, and managing social media channels for clients.
Our ideal candidate has a genuine passion for social; being up to speed on emerging trends isn't part of the job, it's a behaviour you manifest. Working within a collaborative team, you'll have ample opportunity to demonstrate how creative, innovative, and keen you are. You're looking to flex your creative
and
strategic muscles, developing social media strategy, populating it with creative ideas, and helping execute campaigns. In return we offer a base salary of £28k-£30k dependent on experience, 25 days holiday plus public holidays, .
THE ROLE
* Analyse and interpret client briefs and transform them into original social ideas that engage audiences
* Gather insights on audience behaviours in social
* Be the agency's go-to on social trends, platforms and digital culture
* Develop ideas for clients' social strategies
* Help monitor social media trends, platform updates, and competitor content
* Support the planning and scheduling of social media posts using content calendars
* Create for social platforms including Instagram, X, FB, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn
* Manage the agency's social media channels, presence and targeting
* Write compelling copy that grabs the audience's attention and demands engagement
* Be hands on from ideation to scripting to shoots, ensuring content delivers against the brief and exceeds clients' expectations
* Collaborate closely with colleagues with a broad range of different skills to bring ideas to life
* Capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos during shoots and team activities
* Brainstorm ideas for new content formats, trends, and series to keep content fresh and engaging
* Ensure all content is optimized for mobile viewing and platform best practices
* Participate in content reviews and implement feedback from senior creatives
* Be comfortable and confident on client calls and in meetings, coming prepared and presentable
* Capture social analytics, and report performance back to the group
YOU HAVE...
* Gained experience in a social or content agency, delivering standout creative
* A clear understanding of platforms, audiences, and the fast-moving nature of social content
* Interest in/experience of a range of sectors such as food, financial services, tech and engineering
* An eye for emerging trends and cultural moments, allied with the ability to turn them into fresh ideas
* Confidence on set to make sure the content gets captured in camera
* Hands-on experience with social scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite and Sprout, plus Meta Ad Manager
* Knowledge of native video editing tools such as CapCut or Edits preferred
* Some knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
* Strong writing and communication skills, with attention to grammar and storytelling
* A proven track record of increasing a brand's social followers and engagement rates
* Ability to generate creative ideas and translate them into engaging social content
* The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced agency environment
* Willingness to learn, adapt, and receive constructive feedback
