In KS3 and KS4, students follow a scheme of work adapted from White Rose Maths but tailored to the needs of Bedford students. This builds on learning from Key Stage 2 and promotes depth of understanding along with problem solving and knowledge retention. At GCSE, we follow a linear two-tier curriculum, assessed through Edexcel. This approach builds on students' prior knowledge, with regular assessments to identify and address any gaps in learning. We ensure that each student is entered for the appropriate tier based on their progress and understanding. Above all, our goal is to inspire a genuine love for Mathematics in our students, encouraging them to explore the topics we cover and empowering them to tackle more complex mathematical challenges.
