As our Warehouse Manager, you must be organized and process-driven, with an eye for detail. You must be able to remain calm under pressure, prioritize your workload, and communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and couriers.
Experience working in a busy warehouse environment, understanding the importance of stock management and control, operations, logistics, and health and safety are essential. You must be able to follow procedures and offer suggestions for improvements. You will need to be polite, friendly, hardworking, and take pride in your work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an important role, ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient management of our stock. Experience in this area is essential, particularly with inward and outbound goods, managing stock inventory, forecasting, preparing orders for sale, and shipping goods.
While this is a managerial role, it is also hands-on. Dermapure Clinical has doubled its sales in the last 18 months, and we anticipate continued growth, leading to larger premises and an increasingly managerial role. We’re seeking someone excited by future prospects and the opportunity to develop the role.
The role will be based at our head office in Surrey.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS
* Working on Sage 200, our accounts and stock management system
* Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
* Collaborating with the accounts department regarding stock control and ordering
* Managing goods inward, logging, and storing all goods appropriately
* Managing and optimizing storage space and planning for future capacity
* Overseeing the safe, clean, and tidy daily operation of the warehouse
* Managing stock control, including reordering, product lifespans, and stocktakes
* Preparing sales orders for shipping, ensuring goods are packaged safely and securely
* Liaising with the sales team regarding sales order issues
* Negotiating courier services and managing courier relationships
* Preparing and shipping trade show goods to ensure timely arrival and readiness for exhibitions
* Ensuring warehouse security and health and safety compliance
* Conducting oneself professionally for the benefit of the business, suppliers, clients, and team members
* Representing our business and brands appropriately and professionally
* Willingness to travel to meetings and industry events
* Flexibility to perform tasks outside immediate job scope for the overall benefit of the business
* Possessing excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
* Having a keen interest in the skincare sector is beneficial
