An opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team based in St Andrews Community Hospital. You will require to have NHS experience of working with adults, mainly older people and have assessment and treatment knowledge and skills associated with this patient group. Patients are seen in their own homes, homely setting or as an outpatient. The team focus is on community rehabilitation, preventing unnecessary admission, supporting earliest possible discharge from hospital and enabling patients to remain as independent as possible in their homes. You will require to have a degree in Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC. Evidence of continuous professional development appropriate for the banding is essential. Evidence of involvement in audit and service development is required and experience of supervising junior staff for Band 6 level. There may be occasions where you will be required to work in one of the other community hospital sites. Our service offers regular supervision, PDP and supports training opportunities. The ability to travel throughout the area is essential as part of this post is community based. Public Holiday working is in operation (accept Christmas Day and New Year’s Day).
Interviews will take place face to face
