Your new company:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Senior Support Worker to provide care to a range of service users and support them with their needs. The service is based in Llandybie, providing 24/7 care to service users. This could include those with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviour. Their service users are typically very active and enjoy getting out into the community for activities such as bowling, the cinema and singing and dancing.Your new role:
In your role as senior support worker, you will be providing support to a range of ages and personalities, promoting their individuality, and enabling them to live in-line with their support plans. As part of this role, you will be involved in social, educational, and work activities to help promote the service users' social, emotional, cultural, and physical well-being. There are elements of personal care within the role, as well as general housekeeping and domestic duties. Typical shifts can range, including days and nights. The shift patterns are long days and wakeful nights. There is also a potential for sleep-ins too. What you'll need to succeed:
