Production Planner (Drug Product) – Pharmaron

About the Role
We are looking for a Production Planner to join our Product Development Team based at our Hoddesdon site. You will be responsible for the on-time delivery of clinical trial products to Clients by supporting Project Managers and operational teams in planning and scheduling drug product manufacture, risk identification and resolution, and on-time shipment of drug product to Clients.

Key responsibilities
* Plan and schedule batch manufacture, coordinating raw material, equipment, room and resource availability to optimize manufacturing schedules and ensure on-time delivery of finished product to client expectations.
* Coordinate raw material demands across the full project portfolio and work with peer functions to ensure on-time procurement, receipt and release testing.
* Consolidate technical and equipment/change part requirements for batch manufacture and, with project managers and Manufacturing teams, ensure on-time readiness for product manufacture.
* Coordinate sample delivery between plant and lab, and schedule room and equipment cleaning to ensure on-time turnaround and efficient sample delivery to AC labs.
* Support on-time dispatch of product samples and clinical trial product by coordinating shipment needs with Materials Management to ensure on-time readiness to ship.
* Consolidate pass-through costs across the project portfolio, working with Project Managers & Finance to facilitate timely and accurate invoicing.
Requirements
* Industrial experience in GMP pharmaceutical environment.
* Experience in project planning, resource, capacity planning or scheduling.
* Knowledge or experience of pharmaceutical drug product development – oral solid dose products is desirable.
* Sound knowledge of regulatory and cGMP requirements pertaining to drug product.
* Ability to build and manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and manage 3rd party client expectations.
* Evidence of ability to contribute to multi-disciplinary scientific teams.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
* Excellent organizational, planning and time-management skills.
