Your New Role, What’s Involved?
As our business grows we are securing a significant increase in long‑term contracts in the Property Sector. The Project Management Office (PMO) is a key function for managing our WSP major projects within Property & Buildings (P&B). As our projects grow in size and complexity, we need PMs with experience in:
* Contract administration including NEC contracts
* Financial and commercial controls
* Project programming / scheduling
This is not just about applying process, it is about helping transform how we work with clients and partners to deliver services efficiently and effectively. To support this expanding portfolio we are looking to strengthen our project management capabilities by hiring individuals who specialise in this arena and will thrive in this environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and manage the current workload and pipeline for project managers on major projects and opportunities within P&B
* Define scope and best practice in project management, contract management, financial management, and schedule management for P&B major projects, and identify effective delivery methods.
* Lead the recruitment of subject matter experts for contract management, planners, and financial management.
* Lead the development of skills and capabilities in project, contract, schedule, and financial management.
* Provide project management on major projects and programmes.
* Help build future‑facing project management solutions as part of our digital solutions.
* Collaborate with WSP disciplines, sub‑consultants, and partners.
* Develop a standardised approach to PM on major projects in conjunction with other SBUs.
* Minimum 50% utilisation on projects.

We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have
* An architectural, engineering or project management degree
* Membership of a professional institution
* Chartered Project Manager with APM (or equivalent) or working towards this
* Experience in complex multidisciplinary projects with scheduling, financial, and NEC contract management
* Drive to grow a new team within the property and buildings business unit
* Demonstrates collaborative behaviours, ethics and promotes health, safety and wellbeing
