Key Information
* Hours: 44 per week, 7am-4:30pm Monday to Friday, 8am-12pm on a Saturday rota.
* Location: Site based.
* Salary: £29,918.43 basic per year.
* Bonus/OTE: Potential up to £34,718 per year.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Branch Manager and Trade Counter colleagues to deliver excellence.
* Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
* Achieve excellence in customer service, operational standards and Branch sales targets.
* Support the delivery of sales targets while maintaining positive customer relationships.
* Assist with the delivery of branch operations.
* Provide support and assistance to Branch colleagues as required.
* Support the Branch Manager to ensure team completes actions and activities on time and in full.
* Ensure Branch team compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures.
* Undertake stocktakes and audits.
* Maintain maintenance records for Branch vehicles.
* Conduct Branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing and merchanting.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
* Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach, confident, happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers.
* Commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers walk away happy.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
* Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry standard software such as SAP.
* Full and valid driving licence (FLT licence desirable).
* Ability to cover for the Branch Manager when required.
* Previous branch stock‑take experience desirable.
* Comfortable working in a small team and occasionally alone.
* Experience in a similar role in a trade / builders merchant / retail, glazing or uPVC environment desirable.
