Description Job Description Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive Division, delivering Scotland’s Redress Scheme for survivors of childhood abuse in care? The Redress Service Design and Delivery Team are responsible for designing, delivering and maintaining the IT systems and business processes in line with business and user needs. You will join a small team who work closely with a range of colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of Scotland’s Redress Scheme. You should be comfortable working in a challenging and fast-paced environment where sensitive material is handled and discussed frequently. You should possess stakeholder management experience, strong analytical skills and work with a close attention to detail. You’ll also be comfortable working on your own initiative and striving for continuous improvement to deliver a great service. Responsibilities Ensuring business critical IT systems remain available and accessible. This will include responding to live issues reported through a dedicated mailbox and identifying the appropriate escalation route to resolve these. Maintain and regularly review user access to our systems. Processing invoices from suppliers, making sure these are accurate and payments are made on time. Renewing software and IT licences when required, maximising value for money and avoiding the loss of business critical components. Updating the departmental risk register and talking through these risks and mitigating actions at wider divisional meetings. Support the Product Owner and Senior Business Analyst in preparing for, and communicating about, system updates. Building an expert knowledge of existing systems and processes and recording/storing key information and decisions on corporate record tools for future reference. Establish and maintain strong professional working relations with colleagues across the Division and with a range of external partners, to support the policy and delivery of the Scheme. The Redress, Relations, and Response Division operates hybrid working, you will be required to attend the office one day per week and for monthly divisional days.
