Senior HR Advisor
Location: High Wycombe
Hands‑on HR | Site‑based support | Heavy industry
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team, supporting a growing mining contractor business.
Reporting to the General Manager - People & Culture, this role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being close to operations; providing practical, on‑the‑ground HR support and partnering with leaders in a heavy industry environment.
This role involves regular site travel (once a month), working directly with site leadership and workforce to deliver compliant, practical HR solutions.
What you’ll be doing
* Providing hands‑on HR and ER advice across site and corporate operations
* Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation
* Supporting performance management, investigations, disciplinary matters, and terminations
* Drafting and maintaining HR policies and procedures
* Coaching leaders on people management and compliance
* Supporting change processes and workforce matters
* Being a visible HR presence on site
What we’re looking for
* Proven HR experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry
* Strong ER capability and confidence operating in operational environments
* Solid experience interpreting awards and industrial instruments
* Ability to build trust with frontline leaders and site teams
* Willingness to travel regularly to site
* Enterprise Agreement experience highly regarded, but not essential
