The person supported has learning disabilities and needs support with all aspects of daily living including personal care. He enjoys socialising, seeing friends, retro gaming/all things tech and keeping busy. You will need to have experience in social care, and you will need to be a car driver as you will drive client's car daily. Mornings are mostly getting ready for the day, personal care and getting household jobs done, and evenings are mostly having fun, meeting up with friends, or chilling out. We operate a shift system with work on two to four days then four to six days off. Overall, average hours are 22 which includes one sleep-in
There are generally opportunities to pick up extra shifts to cover for holidays and sickness if wanted.
A DBS is required.
