What we’re looking for?

The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager is responsible for the design, development and delivery of the L&D strategy, ensuring colleagues have access to a variety of relevant training and development opportunities to support the needs of the business, today & tomorrow.


We’ll trust you to:

* Lead, coach and develop a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
* Lead the design and delivery of learning pathways and formal training programmes to support colleague development
* Ensure learning and development opportunities are current, engaging, accessible and bench-marked to external and industry standards.
* Monitor, develop and continuously strive to improve standards and standardise the suite of learning programmes.
* Manage the L&D budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximising ROI.

You’ll need to have:

* Professional Qualification at Level 5 or above in Learning & Development (or equivalent).
* Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar.
* Experience of training design, creation and curation of resources.
* Understanding of learning styles and methodologies.
* Experience of Learning Needs Analysis.
* Ability and experience to coach and provide effective feedback.
* Line Management and Leadership Skills.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Experience in a training or education environment.
* Experience of design, support and implementation of L&D strategy.
* Experience of design, delivery and review of formal and developmental training programmes.
* Level 3 Assessor Qualification (TAQA or equivalent).
