A major UK organisation is delivering a large-scale digital transformation programme and needs an experienced Programme Office / PMO Governance Manager to bring structure, clarity, and control across a complex portfolio.
This is a hands-on role with real influence — setting up governance and then running it.
What you’ll do
* Review current programme governance and ways of working
* Design and embed clear, consistent PMO standards, including:
* Programme & project planning
* Resource allocation and utilisation tracking
* Reporting and management information
* Budget control
* Risk, issue & dependency management (single RAID log)
* Own and run governance forums:
* Status reviews
* RAID and resourcing reviews
* Maintain the integrated programme plan and run regular project health checks
* Produce board-level packs and senior stakeholder updates
* Help define programme benefits and track them through to realisation
* Create practical documentation that embeds long-term best practice

* Proven track record running governance for large, complex transformation programmes
