Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer – London & Surrounding Areas
Alarm Communications Limited are a leading team of fire protection, commercial security and building management systems specialists, with our Head Office located in Surrey. Our client base is predominantly prestigious buildings and landmarks such as high‑end hotels, stadia and educational establishments in and around Greater London. We are looking to appoint a new Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer, specifically covering the London area.
Responsibilities
* Work with a small, dedicated key‑account support team, regularly interacting with fellow engineers and apprentices.
* Maintain large‑scale networked fire alarm systems (Gent, Advanced, Notifier, Kentec, Morley, etc.) across long‑standing, prestigious contracts.
* Mentor apprentices and junior engineers and ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and to exceptional workmanship standards.
* Install and service systems to the highest standards, receiving extensive training to achieve expert status with our primary systems.
* Report to the Contract Manager for the area and liaise with the Senior Engineer, Service Coordinator and Service Manager.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer.
* Experience maintaining multi‑panel networked fire alarm systems.
* Customer‑oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and respond to client situations.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent time‑management skills.
* Passion for continuous learning and development.
* Commitment to maintain systems to the highest standards.
