Branch Manager – Watford
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Branch Manager in Watford to join a successful and well-established installation company. This is a hands-on, operational role where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the branch, leading a small team and ensuring smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of services.
Location: Watford
Salary: £40, per annum
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm (rota basis)
Job Type: Permanent

1. Manage and support a team of 4 staff members
2. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the branch
3. Handle customer enquiries and sales of doors and related products
4. Answer, make telephone calls, and respond to emails promptly
5. Process orders and schedule installations efficiently
6. Deal with customers face-to-face in a professional manner
7. Check quantities and condition of delivered goods against delivery notes
8. Carry out some manual handling, including lifting garage doors
9. Learn and maintain strong product knowledge across the full range
Essential Skills & Experience
10. Proven supervisory or management experience
11. Strong sales and customer service background
12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
13. Good organisational and time management skills
14. IT literate and confident using office systems
15. Ability to manage workload effectively in a busy environment
16. Strong attention to detail
17. Team-focused, hands-on management style
Desirable Experience
18. Background in the DIY, doors, construction, builders’ merchants, or home improvement sector
