Job Summary
Wythenshawe Dental Clinic is looking for a friendly and organised Part-Time Patient Coordinator / Receptionist to join our team. You'll be working in-clinic 2-3 times a week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they walk in. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, is naturally organised, and can thrive in a busy clinical setting.
Responsibilities
* Booking patients in and out for appointments using our dental software
* Answering incoming calls and handling appointment enquiries
* Following up with patients via phone or text to confirm bookings or recalls
* Managing patient records and ensuring all paperwork is up to date
* Taking payments and explaining treatment plans or fees when required
* Communicating clearly with both patients and clinical staff to ensure the day runs smoothly
Preferred Skills
* Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred.
* Previous dental experience.
* Previous experience in sales.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* A compassionate attitude towards patient care and a commitment to providing excellent service.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
