Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a Reliable and Skilled Temporary Chef to work for a company in Thame
Role: Temporary Chef
Salary: £13–£16 per hour (dependent on experience)
Location: Thame
Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm, 4–5 days per week
Key Responsibilities of the Temporary Chef:
1. Prepare, cook, and present breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes to a high standard.
2. Handle orders efficiently during busy service times.
3. Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety practices at all times.
4. Support menu planning and daily food preparation.
5. Ensure kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are kept clean and organised.
6. Work effectively as part of a team, assisting colleagues as needed.
7. Manage stock rotation and report shortages
About you:
8. Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
9. Level 3 Food Hygiene / Food Safety Certificate (essential).
10. Proven experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen, ideally in a café or daytime service environment.
11. Ability to work independently and handle busy service periods.
12. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
13. Reliability and a positive, proactive attitude.
