For this role, you must have a strong background in Field Service covering Control Systems and Hydraulics. Their whole product range/systems are based around control systems. You will need good knowledge of using Control Systems to control the hydraulics, things like closed-loop control, motion control, servo control, PID tuning etc.
Overview - International Field Service Engineer - Hydraulics
We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a highly specialised engineering business that designs and supports some of the most advanced hydraulic and servo-controlled testing systems in the world. These systems are used to simulate extreme real-world conditions for industries including automotive (including Formula 1), civil engineering, structural testing, and seismic simulation.
You will be working on complex, bespoke test rigs that operate like “testing robots”, combining hydraulics, electronics, controls, software and mechanical engineering at a very high level.
