We are looking for a Bank Catering Assistant to join our team at Trenewydd. You will work under the direction of the Cook as part of a team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, treating our service users as we would our own family.
Responsibilities include:
* Assist the chef with food preparation
* Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents
* Load and unload dishwashers, wash equipment unsuitable for dishwashers
* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
* Collect and distribute crockery to/from care floors
* Clear tea trolleys and empty kitchen rubbish
* Maintain a hygienic environment
* Follow instructions from Senior Chef/Chef
* Meet residents' nutritional needs
* Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
