Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented Head Housekeeper who embodies the three core values: Inclusivity, Excellence, and Caring!
As Head Housekeeper you will lead and manage our dedicated housekeeping team in delivering the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the Club. This pivotal role directly contributes to an outstanding member and guest experience by ensuring the Club’s facilities are consistently maintained to an exceptional standard, while supporting team development, operational efficiency, and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and develop the housekeeping team to uphold exceptional standards across the Club.
* Manage rotas, training, and performance, ensuring efficient and consistent service delivery.
* Oversee cleanliness in all Club areas, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule.
* Maintain stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of cleaning supplies and consumables.
* Foster positive member interactions, respond to feedback, and continually improve the member experience.
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and safeguarding regulations.
* Champion the Club’s values of Excellence, Inclusivity, and Caring in all areas of housekeeping operations.
You’ll need
* Proven experience in housekeeping or facilities management, ideally in a hospitality or leisure setting.
* Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
* A hands on, proactive approach with high attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
* A friendly, flexible, and service focused attitude.
* Confidence using basic IT systems for scheduling and reporting.
* Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
