10PA Consultant – Paediatrics and Neonatology
This role is for a 10PA Consultant in Paediatrics and Neonatology, delivering multidisciplinary acute care across Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.
Overview
The Paediatrics Department provides high‑quality acute medical care for newborns, children and young people. Our philosophy combines medical excellence with flexible service provision.
Responsibilities
* Act as Paediatrician of the Week and Neonatologist on a rota basis.
* Lead General Paediatric, Ambulatory and Eating Disorder clinics.
* Participate in SPA and DCC activities and department governance, audit and supervision meetings.
* Adhere to the Trust’s safeguarding and welfare commitments for children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must hold membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Children’s Health and be fully registered with the General Medical Council.
Appointees will be required to complete DBS checks (if applicable) and will manage the eVisa via a UKVI account. Applicants should ensure all visa details are correct prior to travel.
