Job Title: Children's Support WorkerLocation: BrightonSalary: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour
About the Role:We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Workers to join our team in Brighton and surrounding areas. This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with a range of needs, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and live fulfilling lives in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
* Promote emotional well-being, independence, and personal development
* Support with daily routines, including education, activities, and appointments
* Build positive, trusting relationships with service users
* Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
* Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionals
Requirements:
* Minimum of 6 months' experience working with children or young people in the UK
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Desirable (but not essential):
* Restraint training (e.g. MAPA, CPI, or equivalent)
* Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or Childcare
