We are seeking a motivated Apprenticeship Skills Coach to deliver high-impact, learner-centered support for Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and leadership apprenticeship programmes.
As an independent vocational education training provider, we are looking for positive, dynamic individuals to join our expanding team who are committed to helping others develop through their apprenticeships. Key Responsibilities
* Coach and mentor learners on Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and Leadership/Management standards.
* Deliver engaging 1:1 coaching sessions and group learning via virtual platforms.
* Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure timely achievement.
* Track progress and implement interventions to maintain engagement.
* Coordinate with employers to align training with business needs and apprenticeship criteria.
* Maintain accurate, compliant records in line with funding and Ofsted requirements.
* Provide pastoral support and motivation to learners facing challenges.
* Stay updated with industry trends to improve delivery and learner outcomes.
* Prepare, agree, and review assessment plans with each candidate.
* Create learner portfolios to meet standards and ensure timely submission.
* Conduct learner visits at least monthly, either face-to-face or remotely, to provide support.
* Perform employer visits for progress reviews.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with vocational expertise in management, leadership, and business, who are passionate about coaching future leaders and supporting learners in their careers. Essential requirements include:
* Own transport and ability to cover the South if needed (remote delivery).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good organizational and time management skills, including travel to various locations.
* Ability to deliver training sessions to groups and individuals, covering the full Apprenticeship standard and Vocational Qualification.
* Methodical approach and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated and team-oriented.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
* TAQA or Assessors award (or willingness to work towards).
* NVQ/Apprenticeship Level 2 or 3 (preferred but not essential).
Additional desirable experience
* Proven coaching or training experience in apprenticeship or education settings.
* Experience delivering Coaching Professional Level 3-5 and/or leadership/management programmes.
* Recognized assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1).
