About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) to join our Consumer and Small Business Banking team. This role is part of our Branch Banking division, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our customers' financial journeys. After completing the necessary licensing and SAFE registration, you will transition into the Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) exempt role.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Branch Premier Banker, you will:
* Participate in our Branch Banking Licensed Banker program if not fully licensed at hire, transitioning to the Senior Branch Premier Banker role upon successful completion.
* Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers while deepening existing relationships through outreach and planned appointments.
* Analyze customer concerns and apply resolution protocols to address them effectively.
* Advise customers on financial options and services tailored to their needs.
* Maintain a deep understanding of Wells Fargo’s banking, credit, and investment solutions.
* Collaborate with peers in Business Banking, Mortgage, and Wealth Management to meet client goals.
* Manage risks by adhering to policies and ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Build strong relationships with branch colleagues and customers to foster financial success.
* Exercise independent judgment in managing client relationships and providing tailored advice.
* Actively contribute to the branch team and mentor other employees.
What You’ll Need
Required Qualifications:
* 4+ years of customer service experience or equivalent.
* 3+ years of experience building effective relationships with customers and partners.
* 3+ years of experience recommending products and services.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in the financial services industry (corporate, consumer, mortgage, etc.).
* Completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams (or equivalents) for immediate registration.
* State Insurance license(s) and experience in a licensed financial services position.
* Strong customer service focus and ability to handle complex transactions.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a book of business.
* Knowledge of Branch Banking compliance controls and risk management.
* Ability to educate customers on digital banking options.
* High motivation to meet team objectives while maintaining individual performance.
Job Expectations
* Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Adherence to Wells Fargo’s sales practices and risk management culture.
* Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or equivalents) is required.
* State Insurance license(s) must be completed within a specified period.
* Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting licensing and regulatory requirements.
* This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range:
The base pay range for this position is $36.68 - $65.24, depending on factors such as skills, experience, and location. This range is just one part of our comprehensive compensation package.
