Role Overview
You will be joining as an electrical design engineer in their Glasgow office. Your responsibilities will include:
* Producing calculations, design drawings, reports and specifications
* Supporting Senior and Associate Engineers as well as the Management team
* Ensuring your work meets the organisations quality assurance standards
* Undertaking condition surveys
* Attending team and project meetings
* Contributing to relevant sustainability legislation
* Contributing to Section 6 compliance modelling
* Witness testing the proving and commissioning procedures of final installations
* Mentoring and training junior engineers
Requirements
* BEng/MEng in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
* Previous experience within a Building Services consultancy.
* Working towards chartership.
* Working knowledge of industry standard software like AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Dialux/Relux, etc.
* Proven experience of designing design Electrical Services in line with appropriate standards, guidance and client`s requirements.
* The ability to work to and meet deadlines, communicate issues effectively and efficiently to ensure project success.
