Job Summary:
We are looking for a warm, professional, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service from check-in to check-out and ensuring every guest feels welcome and well cared for throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival
* Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
* Manage online and phone reservations
* Provide information about rooms, rates, amenities, and local attractions
* Address and resolve guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
* Process payments and handle cash, credit card transactions
* Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner
* Communicate with housekeeping and other departments to coordinate guest needs
* Keep accurate records of bookings, guest information, and special requests
* Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements:
* Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Hotel Key, PMS systems) is an advantage
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Attributes:
* Local knowledge of attractions, restaurants, and services
* Previous experience in a branded hotel
* Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or similar role in hospitality
