Job Description
We’re looking for a Principal Verification Engineer to shape Arm’s next-generation AI/ML hardware!
The role focuses on neural network accelerators used across mobile, automotive, and data centre platforms, with responsibility for verification strategy, environment development, and execution across complex IP.
Responsibilities
* Define and evolve verification strategy for AI/ML hardware IP
* Lead verification across unit, subsystem, and system levels
* Architect scalable environments using SystemVerilog and UVM
* Collaborate with design teams to improve testability and manage risk
* Drive execution to meet coverage and quality goals
* Apply data and analytics to improve debug and coverage closure
* Mentor engineers and share technical expertise
Required Skills and Experience

* Background in RTL verification
* Strong SystemVerilog and UVM knowledge
* Experience verifying complex IP
* Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
* Software fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures)
* Scripting skills (Python, Perl, or similar)
* Effective collaboration across teams
Additional Experience (not required)
* AI/ML hardware
* C/C++ modelling
* AMBA protocols
* Formal verification
* CI/CD or regression systems
