Key Stage: 3 &4 Location: Telford An excellent opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated PE Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school on a long-term basis, starting immediately. This role is ideal for a committed teacher who is enthusiastic about promoting physical education, teamwork and healthy lifestyles, while delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to students of varying abilities. Key Responsibilities of the PE teacher * Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum * Teach practical and theoretical aspects of Physical Education across relevant key stages * Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment for all students * Motivate and inspire pupils to achieve their full potential in sport and physical activity * Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback * Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies * Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures or enrichment activities where required * Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider staff team * Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times The Ideal Candidate Will: * Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification * Have experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting * Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills * Be reliable, adaptable and committed to a long-term placement * Have a genuine passion for sport, fitness and student development How to apply: The school are seeking CVs of suitable candidates.
