Associate – Structured Finance (CLO) | London | Global Elite Law Firm
A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate (2+ PQE) to join its Structured Finance team in London, with a focus on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and complex securitization transactions.
This is an opportunity to join a top-tier global practice advising major financial institutions, asset managers, sponsors, and investors on some of the most sophisticated structured finance transactions in the market.
The Opportunity
You will work on a broad range of structured capital markets and securitization transactions, particularly within the CLO space, while gaining exposure to related areas including capital markets, asset management, and private credit.
The practice regularly advises on both traditional and innovative structured finance deals, including transactions backed by:
* Corporate loan portfolios (CLOs)
* Trade and consumer receivables
* Auto and credit card receivables
* Whole business securitizations
* Aircraft leasing and aviation assets
* Infrastructure-related assets such as telecom towers
* Other complex or esoteric asset classes
You will collaborate with a highly regarded cross-border team, providing advice across the commercial, insolvency, and structural aspects of securitization transactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising clients on CLO transactions and structured finance deals
* Supporting issuers, arrangers, investors, and asset managers
* Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation
* Working on multi-jurisdictional securitization and capital markets transactions
* Assisting with structuring and execution of complex financing solutions
Candidate Profile
* 2+ years’ post-qualification experience at a leading law firm
* Experience in structured finance, securitization, or capital markets
* Exposure to CLO transactions strongly preferred
* Strong academic background
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performing international team
