The Role
We’re looking for a Digital Designer – UI & Visual Systems to support the evolution of a global design system and contribute to the ongoing development of a large-scale, multi-brand website.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end design role, combining UI design, system thinking, and visual execution. You’ll be working across everything from wireframes and prototypes through to imagery and component optimisation.
You’ll collaborate closely with developers, copywriters, and brand teams to deliver designs that are consistent, accessible, and scalable, while also bringing fresh ideas to enhance the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities
UI Design & Prototyping
* Design and evolve UI components and page layouts in Figma
* Create interactive prototypes to communicate design intent
* Ensure responsive, accessible, and visually consistent design across breakpoints
* Test designs against real-world scenarios (e.g. content variability, responsiveness)
Design Systems
* Support the development and scaling of a global design system
* Work with Figma variables, tokens, and component structures
* Document components clearly for developers and stakeholders
* Contribute to governance and best practice across multiple brands
Visual & Imagery
* Source, edit, and optimise imagery for digital experiences
* Ensure consistency of visuals across layouts, devices, and brands
* Incorporate brand assets and maintain high design quality standards
Collaboration
* Work cross-functionally with engineering, content, and brand teams
* Manage your workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Proactively contribute ideas and improvements to the design system
Experience Required
* 2–3 years’ experience in digital, web, or UI design
* Strong proficiency in Figma (components, auto layout, variables, prototyping)
* Experience working with design systems and component-based design
* Strong eye for UI, layout, hierarchy, and responsive design
* Experience preparing imagery for digital platforms
* Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
* Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams
