Position: Housing Officer
Location: Livingston
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: Until the end of September 2025
Pay Rate: £15 - £18 per hour

As a Housing Officer, you will be at the forefront of their mission, working directly with residents to ensure their housing needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Housing Management: Liaise with tenants, manage estates, address anti-social behaviour, and conduct inspections.
* Repairs: Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors and tenants on repair issues.
* Arrears Control: Manage arrears, negotiate arrangements, and instigate legal action if necessary.
* Resident Involvement: Promote the Association's work and attend tenant meetings.
* Administration: Maintain accurate records and adhere to performance standards.
Desirable experience:
o Ideally experience in housing roles, estate management, repairs, arrears management, and using the UC Landlord Portal
o Knowledge of Universal Credit, welfare benefits, housing legislation, and good practice
o Excellent communication, organisation, and computer skills
o Commitment to equal opportunities and high service standards
o Clean driving license and access to a car
