Role Responsibility Fixed Term - Term Time Only - 39 weeks per year – 37 hours per week (Part Time hours available). We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Education Support Officer to join our friendly, dynamic and supportive team at the Virtual School Kent, part of one of the largest councils in the country. We are looking for somebody to join our team for Out of County placed young people who are looking to, or already, attend education provisions outside of Kent mainly in secondary schools. This would include working remotely with education settings, stakeholders and young people with some face to face work wherever possible. You will manage a caseload of Children and Young People in Care and ensure that they all have high quality, up to date and regularly reviewed Personal Education Plans (PEPs). To achieve this you will collaborate with schools and partners across multi-agency teams to ensure best outcomes for children and young people. You will need to be self-motivated, highly organised with the ability to prioritise work and be flexible in order to meet the needs of the team.
