Advertisement Details The Contract Manager is responsible for the complete management of construction related capital projects. The Contract Manager will be responsible for the expenditure of all resources available to develop and implement statutory and non-statutory contractual responsibilities in relation to capital projects. The Contract Manager will have a key role in identifying and developing the long-term strategic approach to the provision of construction related contracts across the council. The Contract Manager will be responsible for consultation and liaison with other services within the Council and all other third parties that contribute to the provision of successful construction contracts in Shetland. This will include full consultation with existing users of Council services, consultants, contractors and those seeking to access those services This vacancy is being advertised as a Career Graded post, which is a career development opportunity.
