Hours: 40 hours per week Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office), Belfast site-based (only applicants based in Northern Ireland area will be considered) Benefits: Sodexo rewards and benefits Requirements: Full UK driver’s licence and access to own vehicle Minimum 5 years’ residency in the UK About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Assets & Facilities Manager to lead our Asset Management, Inspection, and Data Control function. In this role, you will ensure accurate and up-to-date asset data, deliver planned maintenance programmes, and oversee compliance and reporting across our multi-site estate. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, benchmarking performance, and providing strategic insight to support informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Asset Management – Inspection & Data Control Maintain accurate asset data across condition, space, functionality, financials, and sustainability. Oversee asset registers, survey data, and drawings. Procure and manage the Asset Management Consultancy Framework, overseeing consultant delivery. Produce annual “State of the Estate” reports and validate financial and condition data. Deliver spatial, condition, functional, environmental, and external (NPEG) benchmarking. Develop and implement a robust data reporting system. Deliver a planned preventative maintenance programme of work. Facilities & Maintenance Services Oversee delivery of planned, statutory, cyclical, and reactive maintenance. Lead maintenance strategies, plans, and compliance frameworks. Compliance, Assurance & Reporting Ensure statutory maintenance, testing, certification, and evidence management meet requirements. Produce regular performance, compliance, and improvement reports. Support Client governance, assurance processes, and information requests. Key Deliverables & Systems: Asset Registers and Data Systems Asset Surveys & Inspections Maintenance Strategy and Plans Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme Compliance Assurance Reports Monthly & Annual Performance Reports Estate Benchmarking and “State of the Estate” Reports CAFM and reporting system outputs Education & Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent) in Facilities Management, Property/Estates Management, Building Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar. Chartered membership of RICS, IWFM, CIOB, or CIBSE (or equivalent). Demonstrable competence in contract management (NEC3/NEC4 experience highly desirable). Strong working knowledge of asset/estate management and maintenance best practice. Experience: 5 years’ leadership experience managing multi-site estates with a mix of strategic planning and operational maintenance delivery. Proven experience in asset data governance, registers, drawings, and survey programmes, including management of specialist frameworks/consultants. Experience creating estate strategies, multi-year programmes, prioritised plans of work, and early-stage business case development. Strong supply chain leadership: performance management, quality assurance, compliance management, and value-for-money controls. Experience implementing and operating CAFM/Helpdesk environments and performance reporting systems. Competencies & Skills: Operational control: maintains grip on day-to-day risk, compliance, and performance while delivering long-term improvements. Commercial and governance acumen: understands cost drivers, prioritisation, and assurance requirements; maintains audit-ready evidence. Stakeholder influence: credible communicator with clients, site users, contractors, and internal delivery teams. Analytical thinking: uses benchmarking and performance indicators to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
