As the Maintenance Team Leader you will lead a team of Engineers and Technicians responsible for the maintenance of a fully automated distribution system. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer concerning the day-to-day operations on-site.

You will also lead all continuous improvement activities that underpin site performance and support the delivery of the maintenance strategy.
This role is on an weekly rotating shift pattern of 8 hour early, late and night shifts, mostly Monday-Friday.
What you'll be handling
Lead a team of Maintenance Engineers, Technicians and apprentices
Co-ordinate all maintenance activities, planned repairs and reactive repairs of the automated equipment on site, both TGW and third party
Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency ensuring that the customers orders are not missed
Complete all necessary reports, inclusive of near miss and hazard reporting, shift, maintenance tasks, spare parts usage and toploss, whilst working in DART, CMMS, .SAV Assure and Teams software platforms
Attend daily customer meetings providing any updates on the automation
Cover the Site Engineering Manager during holiday and sickness periods
Manage escalations onsite in line with TGWs escalation procedure
Ticket management for remote support
Drive continuous improvement activities on site
Promote health and safety onsite
Comply to all current, future health and safety legislation at all times
What you'll need
Essential
Minimum NVQ level 3/BTEC HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline, ideally electrical bias
Experience leading a leading team
Strong Electrical and Mechanical maintenance engineering background
Working knowledge of Siemens S7, Profibus, Canbus, Profinet and ASI Bus
Proficient communication skills and customer focused
Ability to work in a time critical environment

Previous experience working within Materials Handling Equipment
Experience working in maintenance within logistics environments
